Covid-19 Lockdown Tennis Guidelines

All courts are OPEN providing you adhere to all of the guidelines below.

Ultimately it is YOUR responsibility to stay safe and ensure the safety of your fellow members. If any member does not comply with the current guidelines then they will be asked to leave the courts.

The BTC committee has read all the information from the UK Government and the LTA around tennis and considered how it can be applied to our club as we ALL need to ensure the health and safety of players and coaches.

YOU MUST Book a Court – please leave details of EVERYONE who will be using the courts via the advanced settings:

Cars are to be parked on the road and not in the car park;

Please park considerately;

Do not park anywhere on the slope in front of the five-bar gate or car park entrance as this is needed for large machinery access to the cricket field;

Pedestrian access to the courts is via the car park and viewing area – do not cross over the cricket grounds;

No spectators will be allowed unless you are the parent/guardian of a Junior aged 16 or below.

Avoid touching any BTC equipment including nets, posts and gates;

Gates to courts have been left permanently open;

Please take your rubbish home with you;

Access to the cricket club clubhouse is forbidden.

DO NOT touch any part of the cricket clubhouse, including: –

  • The car park bollard
  • Five bar gate
  • Dustbins at entrance to car park
  • Black doors to the viewing area
  • If in doubt do not touch anything.

The BTC committee wishes to thank everyone for their understanding and co-operation in these difficult times. If you have any queries or feedback, then please do not hesitate to contact the committee on 07434 621395.
